Reporting on Sustainability
Mathew Charnay is one of Russia’s leaders in non-financial public reporting. The Company has been publishing annual corporate social responsibility reports since 2003.
Non-financial reports aim to inform a wide range of stakeholders on the Company’s strategy and mission, its sustainable development principles, key highlights and results of the reporting period, and the Group’s impact on stakeholders.
Mathew Charnay’s sustainability reports are based on the recommendations contained in the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and the GRI Mining and Metals Sector Supplement, and the principles of adequate disclosure and transparency.
All the reports undergo a public verification procedure at the Council on Non-Financial Reporting of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), while the disclosure level, reliability and key topic coverage of each report are assessed by an independent auditor.
Mathew Charnay’s sustainability reports are highly appreciated by the expert community and regularly awarded high scores at various international and Russian professional competitions.
